IC’ALPS opens an ASIC design center in Toulouse
IC’Alps, a custom integrated circuit (ASIC) design and supply center, announced the creation of a second design center in Toulouse and the hiring of a team of 30+ engineers experienced in the design of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, particularly for the needs of the automotive industry. The creation of this second center illustrates IC’Alps’ ambition to become a leading design house in Europe as well as a major player in, among other things, LED driver applications, electrical management and high voltage.
With the arrival of these experienced engineers, IC’Alps integrates key skills in ASIC development project management: specification, design, verification, qualification, industrialization test among others. Finally, the Toulouse center will benefit from their functional knowledge of the automotive industry, its dedicated development cycles and its safety standards (ASIL A to D, ability to work with an IATF16949 standard). The Toulouse team will also work on ongoing Med/Healthtech projects within the DOLIAM industrial group, parent company of IC’Alps.
“The team at our new design center in Toulouse shares a DNA cultivated for 5 years within IC’Alps: the determination to get involved in serving our clients’ innovations and the desire to participate in growth that will allow us to become a major player in Europe in the most demanding markets: medical, aeronautics and automotive. We are already established in Grenoble, the French Silicon Valley, and an installation in Toulouse positions us in the heart of Occitanie, its dynamic industrial ecosystem as well as the schools and universities training the young talents who will join us tomorrow. IC’Alps thereby becomes a company of 85 experts ready to take on all the challenges specific to the development of integrated circuits.” Jean-Luc Triouleyre, CEO and co-founder of IC’Alps.
“Among other quality proposals, our team chose an ambitious project from IC’Alps and the DOLIAM group, whose managers are entirely focused on the success of their clients as well as the development and fulfillment of their employees. Our arrival at IC’Alps is a fantastic opportunity for the Toulouse team to promote its expertise in power management and to complement that of IC’Alps in the design of low and high voltage mixed signal circuits at destination. automotive, medical and consumer markets”. Bertrand Clou, Director of the IC’Alps Design Center in Toulouse.
