Press Release | Minalogic launches its Decarbonisation Pathway
Minalogic launches its Decarbonisation Pathway,
a tailor-made programme to help SMEs in the digital sector make the ecological transition
Grenoble, 22 April 2025 – Minalogic, the competitiveness cluster for digital transformation in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, is rolling out an innovative scheme to help digital SMEs reduce their carbon footprint. Built around a structured, progressive and subsidisable pathway, this programme aims to meet new environmental requirements while taking into account the constraints of businesses.
Faced with new regulatory obligations and the demands placed on their suppliers by prime contractors, SMEs in the digital sector need to embark on their ecological transition. But they are still ill-equipped to make the transition, and often lack the time, resources and skills to do so. That’s why Minalogic is launching a pragmatic, tailor-made programme designed to be activated quickly, at low cost and over time.
The scheme is part of a national drive to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and meets the expectations of funding bodies. It also enables companies to make energy savings, reduce their carbon emissions and, ultimately, make significant financial savings.
Minalogic’s decarbonisation programme is aimed at digital SMEs, taking into account the diversity of their activities. Whether they are component manufacturers (energy issues and industrial waste), integrators (process optimisation and responsible sourcing) or software developers (eco-design through the careful management of digital resources), each profile will benefit from support tailored to its action levers.
Structured, progressive and operational support
The programme offered by Minalogic is based on three stages: a free online pre-diagnosis, a strategic diagnosis and a co-constructed action plan, followed by tailor-made support for implementation. Two specialist firms, ABGi and Inddigo, were selected via a call for expressions of interest for their ability to cover the entire process.
The scheme is based on existing funding windows and will initially focus on energy performance. The aim is to help companies structure an approach tailored to their maturity, while meeting the expectations of their customers and financiers.
Methods designed to remove the barriers to action
The programme is available from today. The pre-diagnosis is free, the diagnosis is priced at €1,500, and support is available on request. Regional, national and European subsidies are available.
“Market trends mean that they will no longer be able to do without it. Offering them a simple programme tailored to digital technology, with access to subsidies, will be a clear incentive” explains Jérôme de Parscau, Decarbonisation Coordinator at Minalogic and coordinator of the programme.
Part of a global transformation strategy
This new service is part of Minalogic’s overall strategy for ecological transition. On the one hand, the cluster is promoting innovative technologies that help to reduce industry’s carbon footprint. On the other, it supports companies in structuring their environmental initiatives.
Digital technology is a catalyst for decarbonisation, making it possible to optimise industrial processes, develop innovative and collaborative solutions, and thus meet the environmental and economic challenges facing the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. In turn, decarbonisation supports the digital transformation of industries, promoting more efficient and sustainable models.
“We believe in a dual approach: supporting technological innovation while helping SMEs to undertake their own transformation. The Decarbonation Pathway is a bridge between these two worlds, with the ambition of making a collective impact“, emphasises Erasmia Dupenloup, General Delegate of Minalogic.
