CAP’TRONIC (JESSICA France)
Founded by CEA and Bpifrance, with the support of the French Ministry of Industry, JESSICA France is responsible for implementing the CAP’TRONIC program.
The aim of this program is to help French companies boost their competitiveness by supporting them in the digital transformation of their products and production processes, using electronic technologies and embedded software.
Relying on a network of over 600 public and private skills centers, CAP’TRONIC engineers seek out the optimum technological solutions, taking into account, as early as possible in the project, the value added, all constraints linked to the use of the product/equipment, reliability and robustness requirements, regulatory contexts, cybersecurity, maintenance in operational condition (MCO) and the entire life cycle (eco-design).
Every year, CAP’TRONIC trains over 1,000 trainees from more than 400 companies (ranging from very small businesses to major corporations) in the practical application of electronic systems and embedded software.
