TECHTERA

TECHTERA is the Innovation Cluster for the French textile sector, with a mission to encourage innovation in products and processes through various services, including monitoring, support, networking, funding research, and communication.
The cluster initiates and oversees multi-partner R&D projects related to fibers and yarns, the development of multifunctional textiles, and the use of textiles as flexible materials (3D textiles, composite materials, etc.).
TECHTERA actions focus on three main areas outlined in its roadmap: the circular economy, smart and high-performance materials, and the digitalization of manufacturing processes.
Finally, TECHTERA plays a key role in structuring smart textiles and electronic textiles (E-Textile) sectors in France.
