Presented by Olivier BOURGEOIS, Nanotip is a nanoscale thermal measurement solution based on an atomic force microscope coupled to a novel resistive thermometry system offering unrivalled spatial resolution and extreme temperature sensitivity. This measurement solution can support researchers in the thermal characterization of nanomaterials, as well as manufacturers in the detection of nanometric hot spots that are particularly difficult to detect in failure analysis and microelectronics design.
The Institut Néel, located in Grenoble, is a research center internationally recognized for its expertise in condensed matter physics and nanoscience. It stands out for its work on electronic reliability, particularly in the fields of advanced electronic materials, spintronics and quantum technologies. Its researchers develop solutions to improve the reliability of electronic devices, particularly for critical applications such as aeronautics, transport and embedded systems. The Institut Néel collaborates with companies and institutions to innovate in the design of reliable electronic circuits that can withstand extreme conditions.
