The Electronics Technical Day – #JTE2024 kept all its promises!

Exceptional keynotes, exciting speakers with great expertise, exhibitors available to present and explain their latest innovations and a quality audience who responded to the invitation, this Wednesday January 24, 2024 at the Espace Saint-Martin (Paris 3ᵉ) for the 2024 edition of the #JTE
Electronics Technical Day around the generic theme “Electronics, Electrification, Reindustrialization: a winning trio for France and Europe”.

In introduction Frédérique Le Grevés, President of CSF Industrie Electronique, President of STMicroelectronics France and sponsor of this edition of the JTE, after providing an overview of the French electronics sector and the tense and uncertain geopolitical context, recalled the urgent need for French and European stakeholders to organize and unite always and even better in order to strengthen the sector.

Henri Rajbenbach, Scientific officer at the European Commission, through the presentation of the EU Chips Act, highlighted how the values advocated by #ACSIEL are very widely shared and aligned with those of the EU, particularly in the issues of technological sovereignty.

Marc Plissonnier from CEA-Leti continued this inaugural keynote with an intervention entitled Power electronics, a key gateway for the electrification of uses . A strong transition on the theme of the JTE as an introduction to the two round tables.

Finally, most of the debates took place around the two round tables“Electrification more than ever at the heart of industrial issues” and “Electronics, Electrification, Reindustrialization: a winning trio for France and Europe” expertly moderated by Pascal Coutances, editorial director of VIPress.
Rich, informative and nourishing discussions during which Bruno Racault, President of ALL Circuits, Nicolas Denis, CEO of the Group ASTEELFLASH, Thibaud Severini, Market Leader – Startups & Innovative solutions of MATRA Electronique, François Guillot, Expert in electrical systems at SAFRAN, Anne-Flore Perrin , Strategy and business development director of SCHNEIDER Electric and Maxime Morand, Head of Strategy and Partnerships of VERKOR, subcontractors and equipment manufacturers in the electronics industry, initially, discussed the issues surrounding the electrification of uses within their companies and the problems encountered.

Franck Murray, General Director of MURATA, Stéphane Blanchon, Strategy Market Development Manager at ROHDE & SCHWARZ, Pierre Cemeli, European Sales Director of SOITEC</ a>, Eric Moreau, Senior Director of PowerGaN R&D and director of the Toulouse-Labège site of STMicroelectronics, Arnaud Ponthieux, General Manager of TDK Electronics SAS & TDK Electronics Spain SA and Sylvain Le Bras, application engineer at Würth Elektronik France SAS, then discussed how the electronics industry intends to respond to the challenges of electrification, particularly through technological innovation and training.

A JTE punctuated by times of discussion and networking in a friendly open space where the public could wander from stand to stand and discover the latest innovations from the 10 companies who trusted us for this edition: Typhoon Hil, Elemca, Würth Elektronik , Rohde&Schwarz, TDK, Altrics, Protavic, Inventec, Proto Electronics and AGIGA.
