#ACSIEL 2013 – 2023; in 10 years, 90 years consolidated!

Paris, September 27, 2023: 2023! 10 years already since ACSIEL – Alliance of Components and Systems for the Electronic Industry has succeeded in unifying the unions of electronic components, test, measurement and production equipment supplying the electronics value chain, to continue the work begun 100 years earlier by manufacturers of passive components with the creation of the SNIR – National Union of Industries Radioelectrics: group and consolidate to serve electronics.

This anniversary year was a pivotal year marked by the implementation by the new administrative team of the strategic vision of the new governance:

  • Stimulate interactions between members, between upstream and downstream sectors
  • Highlighting the expertise present in the territories and their ecosystem
  • Recognize the potential of the electronics industry in major environmental, social and societal issues.

Real representation of #ACSIEL: €8.5 billion!

The creation of a reliable and objective mapping of members with an overall vision of their territorial anchoring made it possible to quantify the real representativeness of #ACSIEL within the electronics sector. This strategic decision support tool has been extended to other players in the value chain of the French electronics industry.

#ACSIEL now weighs 8.5 billion euros in turnover in the French industrial sector!

Conquest and reconquest of territories

The industry takes place in the regions! #ACSIEL has taken up its pilgrim’s staff to meet its members and future members, by organizing breakfasts #ACSIELPtidej to cement links with members, develop and strengthen the network, understand the ecosystem of each territory better and more closely and create a real network with the whole actors from each region.

On the 2023 program: Region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes at CEA leti (February) – Region Nouvelle-Aquitaine at SERMA Technologies (June) – Region Ile-de- France at CNRS (September). Stay tuned for the 2024 program!

But also by initiating the Electronics Day of Puissance in Hauts-de-France, in partnership with the Pôle MEDEE, in order to combine views, experiences and expertise of companies and academics around the challenges of power electronics in Hauts-de-France.

Improved awareness and visibility of #ACSIEL

We have implemented a BtoB strategy on LinkedIn in order to develop the audience and notoriety of our alliance

A total overhaul of the website, with a desire to highlight the challenges of the electronics industry according to the main audiences for which #ACSIEL is undertakes, namely its members, the electronics professionals and schoolchildren and students.

Attractiveness of electronics professions and diversity

Our mission to serve trades, training and employment within the electronics industry sector has resulted in several concrete actions directly in collaboration with training centers or manufacturers.

Several concrete actions have been carried out in collaboration with training centers and manufacturers, how the integration of the Collectif Industri’ELLES for the promotion of diversity and gender diversity in the industry, but also pparticipation in the AMI CMA INFORISM project with the CNFM for training engineers in the micro-nanoelectronics sector for a total investment by the State of 10 million euros or even pparticipation within the CNI to the diversity in employment working group.

Other events have punctuated and will continue to punctuate these 10 years of #ACSIEL, notably the celebration, at the end of November, of the 25th Electrons d’Or with an openness to European innovations.

The story of #ACSIEL is that of men and women who over the last 100 years, behind the acronyms and names of unions, have always had a keen sense of commitment to serving the common interest and a passion for the electronics industry.

It is still armed with this same desire that we are today building the electronics of 2030.
