Morning of connection and innovation at CEA-Leti: an ACSIELPtidej#4 immersed in the future of electronics

The dynamism of our alliance was illustrated during our now traditional networking breakfast which aims to catalyze meetings between members of the ecosystem, to promote membership and to share the technological advances that shape the future of our sector and which was organized this <strong>March 8, 2024 at CEA-Leti, in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region.

The atmosphere was marked by a mixture of anticipation and curiosity, promising a morning rich in discoveries with the choice between a visit to the showroom of the CEA-Leti or the combined one of the Cybersecurity and Telecom laboratories .

An immersion in Innovation

With the visit to the showroom, a space dedicated to the exhibition of the latest innovations and achievements in electronics and nanotechnology strong>, some of the participants were able to closely observe the prototypes and technologies that will push the industry towards new horizons, from embedded artificial intelligence to ultra-sensitive sensors, highlighting the transformative potential of this research for varied sectors, ranging from health to aerospace.

Strengthening Cybersecurity in a Connected World

At the same time, two other groups were oriented towards the cybersecurity laboratory, an increasingly predominant field in digital era. The exchange with researchers made it possible to understand the critical issues of information security and electronic systems.

Through demonstrations and discussions, participants explored cutting-edge solutions developed to counter cybersecurity threats, illustrating the critical importance of research in infrastructure protection criticism and security of personal and professional data.

The horizons of Telecommunications

The journey ended at the Telecom laboratory, where advances in wireless communications were highlighted . This part of the visit offered a clear view of the innovations that are redefining the means of connection and communication on a global scale. The focus was on emerging technologies such as 5G and beyond, unveiling the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing faster, more reliable and more secure networks.

Discussions also touched on the importance of these technologies to support the growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) and to meet the growing demand for connectivity in our company.

The morning ended with a speech by Jean-René LEQUESPEYS, Deputy Director | CEA-Leti, The global challenges of microelectronics and the role of CEA-Leti followed by a focus from Eric MERCIER, Deputy Head – Telecom & Wireless Unit | CEA-Leti, Telecom & RF Technology development.

A network strengthened by exchange

The success of this morning lies not only in the sharing of knowledge and technologies but also in the links forged between the participants.

The meeting moments were punctuated by fruitful exchanges, sharing of experiences and discussions on future collaborations, marking the start of new synergies within our ecosystem.

The enthusiasm generated by the visits and interactions confirmed the marked interest in our mission and our actions and will, we hope, lead to new memberships, thus strengthening our professional organization and beyond the entire Electronics Industry sector.

Let’s inspire inclusion for this ACSIELPtidej#4

This ACSIELPtidej#4 took place as part of  International Women’s Rights Day #IWD2024, on this occasion, a table round table on “Feminization of the workforce in the electronics sector” organized in partnership with IRT Nanoelec concluded this meeting.

Opportunity to discover women, with diverse, rich and inspiring backgrounds, who one day decided to make a career in the electronics industry:

➡️ Sandrine MAUBERT, Deputy Director of IRT Nanoelec,
➡️ Frédérique LE GREVES, president of STMicroelectronics France,
➡️ Hélene WEHBE-ALAUSE, Research Director at STMicroelectronics Crolles,
➡️ Florence ROBIN, founder and president of Limatech,
➡️ Anne ROULE, Director of the technological platform department at CEA-Leti

Let’s bet that they are an example for our young girls and young women who also wish to #conquer careers in the #electronics sector!

Thank you to CEA-Leti for an exceptional organization and for having facilitated this dive into the heart of electronic innovation, aiming to promote French excellence and build a future where collaboration and innovation are at the forefront.
